If you could be any Greek God for a night, which one would you be? Some of you might say the all-powerful Zeus, others may choose the alluring Aphrodite… well we know who we’d pick. Introducing you to Dionysus: the God of Wine and Merriment.
Everyone knows how fond we are of our vino, so Dionysus just comes as a natural fit. Oh and not just that, he’s a bit of a party animal like us, too. It just so happens that The Vaults are launching their latest theatrical dining experience dedicated to this hedonistic God.
‘Divine Proportions’ is set to be an evening that blurs the line between feast and fetish, dreaming and reality. Officially launching tonight, one can expect a lust-fuelled night of debauchery and indulgence during this mythological journey.
The world of Divine Proportions is the inclusive utopia I dream of, and whilst that world remains mythological, we’ll keep working our butts off to bring our dreamworld to life.
All-female production company Shotgun Carousel have put together quite the show, seamlessly combining character, creature, costume and set design to create something truly spectacular. We can already envision the level of extra.
Without giving too much away, Laura Drake Chambers, Founder and Creative Director of Shotgun Carousel and Creative Producer of Divine Proportions, said: “The world of Divine Proportions is the inclusive utopia I dream of, and whilst that world remains mythological, we’ll keep working our butts off to bring our dreamworld to life. It’s raunchy, sexy, unapologetically loud and if our audiences have as much fun experiencing this show as we’ve had creating it, we’ll have done Dionysus proud”.
