Win a Night of Pure Imagination with Haigh’s Chocolates

Easter may be over but we’re not nearly ready to give up the chocolate festivities!

South Australia’s premium chocolate company Haigh’s Chocolates are hosting an incredible night of magical fun at the Capri Theatre on April 15th where the 1971 classic Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory will be shown. All proceeds from the evening will be donated to Young Variety and will assist disadvantaged youth (like little Charlie Bucket).

Guests are invited to dress up as their favourite Willy Wonka character, and prizes will be awarded for best dressed. Capri Theatre’s Wurlitzer Organ will be playing songs from the movie, and you can bet there’ll be loads of chocolate surprises all evening.

A fun fact you may not know about Haigh’s is they used to have little shops inside many theatres around Adelaide from 1954. Alfred Haigh, founder of the delicious chocolate company us South Australians are so proud of, also used to run a cinema in Mount Gambier when he was in the early stages of his confectionary career. These two pieces of history helped Haigh’s create this magical charity event.

Chocolate and movies are two things that we love here at The Adelaidian, and we can’t be more excited to be giving away two tickets to the Haigh’s Chocolate’s movie fundraiser. Head to our Instagram and repost the photo with #theadlxhaighs and tag both @theadelaidian and @haighschocolates to be in the running to win! We will randomly select the winners of the competition on the 13th of April. Good luck!
