It’s tanning season, baby!
Here in Sydney, we’ve really noticed the temperature rising and it’s got us all in noticeably high spirits. We’re dropping the coats and saying hello to bare legs, open-toe shoes, and short sleeve cuts. As we all know, along with the change in wardrobe comes the need for a change in tanning routine!
Throughout winter, we can easily get away with a patchy fake tan by covering it up with stockings, jeans, or long pants and skirts. Now that we’re showing more skin in the warmer weather, our tans need to be in tip-top shape, at all times. No excuses.
What every tanning-fanatic needs to keep in mind is that it’s not just the fake tan itself that’s important. Yes, a great tanning brand leaves fewer streaks and gives a more natural glow, but in actual fact, it’s the prepping and removal processes that set you up for success in the long run. The glove is really effective at removing old fake tan. The best part? It’s not aggressive against the skin. I (Mel) personally suffer from quite sensitive skin at times, whether it’s from heat, allergies, eczema, or other. Often in the past, I have aggravated eczema with excessive scrubbing of the skin.
CheekyGlo’s glove features a thinner, textured fabrication, made of biodegradable viscose (yep, it’s environmentally-friendly, too!), which I find is much more kind to my skin. Plus, the fact that the material is thin means I have more control over the glove itself, with the ability to get stuck into tough, niggly areas like around the ankle and the elbows.
