Dine like a Queen at a castle in Adelaide

This past Sunday a few of lucky girls were invited to ‘Be a Queen for the Day’ at Basket Range’s The Manor in anticipation of Tomich Wines’ Let Them Drink Wine Gala Dinner.

Located in the hidden-away castle within the gorgeous Adelaide Hills, guests were glammed up by the incredible Colour Cosmetica team – Marie Antoinette-style. With rosy cheeks and fancy up-do’s, they were dressed by the amazing Eliza French and her ‘Varacalli Couture’ collection. The day was a joy, and this was just a taste of what’s to come.

The upcoming event is part of the South Australian Winter Reds Festival. The gala dinner calls for guests to wear their most ‘French and Magnifique’ poufs, feathers and trinkets, with an opportunity to embrace their inner queen (or king). We’re talking ringlets, beauty spots and pocket watches.

The Manor, built in 1928 by Albert Pinchbeck, will hold the extravagant banquet dinner filled with canapes on the terrace, a seated feast in the ballroom, and a French-inspired dessert buffet. Expect winter trimmings, award-winning Tomich Wines and plenty of cake (as the Queen ordered).

Tickets are $155 each, with an optional bus transfer from Tomich Wines in Unley or Burnside Village for an extra $30pp. From 6:30pm to midnight on Saturday July 28th, this even is sure to sell out so book now.
