Our fave new figure-hugging dresses from Georgy Collection

Georgy Collection is one of our favourite Adelaide-based designers. We always love styling with their beautiful dresses! Having supported the brand since 2017, we’ve worn their designs all over the world since then. From Adelaide, Melbourne, and Sydney, to overseas in London and the South of France, Georgy comes with us on all of our fabulous worldly adventures.

We recently updated our wardrobes with some chic new dresses, perfect for any kind of upstyled occasion. As always, Georgy’s dresses flattered our figures wonderfully, with tailoring that seeks to enhance the womanly figure in highlighting an hourglass shape. A few weeks ago, we decided to take a road trip to Bowral and shoot our new picks up there for the day.

Mel styled with the Chantelle Luxe Dress, which is a popular Georgy shape and one that Kristen actually already owns too (in blue and green!). Opting for black from top to toe, this stunning cocktail dress is all kinds of chic and definitely timeless. The boning in the bodice truly cinches the waist and sculpts the bust — Mel wore it with a strapless bra underneath to further enhance her cleavage.

Then there’s the gorgeous bow detail to the shoulder straps! This adds a touch of femininity to an otherwise very clean and sultry cut. Finishing at an elegant midi length, it’s the perfect choice for cocktail events, classy dinners and everything in between.

In true Mel and Kristen fashion, Mel leaned towards something more sexy, while Kristen leaned towards something more whimsical and feminine. Choosing the Dahlia Dress in a blush pink hue, Kristen felt utterly princess-like in this pretty piece. This dress offers a more playful mini cut, ideal for garden parties and long lunches. It also features the signature bow detailing to the straps, complemented by an equally dreamy pleated hemline that floats ever so elegantly in motion.
