Following a stellar set at Splendour in the Grass over the weekend, James Blake will be gracing us with his gorgeous presence at Thebarton Theatre this coming Thursday evening.
Blake dropped his incredibly beautiful third studio album The Colour in Anything in May this year, which featured collabs from well-known names such as Frank Ocean, Justin Vernon (Bon Iver) and Rick Rubin.
The delightfully melodic voice of Blake spans an expansive seventeen songs across the album, with each contemporary electronic tune more melancholic and striking than the last.
Electronic musician Mark Pritchard will be preceding Blake, his music ranging from techno, jungle, footwork and grime; Pritchard is renowned for embracing the latest sounds and technology that music has to offer.
Pritchard’s album 76:14, a collaboration with Tom Middleton, has been described by The Guardian as an “unfathomably beautiful out-of-time masterpiece”.
Don’t miss the two at Adelaide’s Thebarton Theatre Thursday the 28th of June, doors open at 7pm, with the gig starting at 8pm!
