To launch the fun new accessory, GHD x Lulu Guinness held a fabulously pink event in a decadent old building. Guests could have their hair styled using the new straightener and hair dryer and their nails polished by OPI while sipping on elaborate cocktails. A candy bar had us all on an energetic sugar high, while the scroll ice-cream cooled us down in this steamy weather. As the event was held on the night of the FIFA World Cup semi-final, a TV screen in the middle of a pair of giant lips played the game, around which dozens of pampered girls crowded to catch the action.
